Ok, I have looked this up and the last thread that was anything like this was on 1 feb.
We have had many threads about zombie apocalypses and viruses turning you into zombies, but what about infections? What would your plan be if there was suddenly an outbreak of a new disease (uncureable, of course) that was very lethal? Say 5 days with it then you die, It's waterborne, through bites from infeced animals, blood, saliva and air. Would you run? Blockade your house and wait it out? Or something else? How would you feel about your family?
P.S. Inspired by Unabomberman
P.P.S First thread!

Edit: Ok, I meant incurable in the sense that YOU can't make a cure, and It will blow over in about a 3 years time.

Nobody in their right mind would accept that shit. Remember, negation is the first step.

Answering the question of the OP: Like crap, that's how I'd feel.

Well, it depends. Can it be cured syntomatically? (That is, treat the symptoms instead of the disease itself). Also, is it viral, bacterial or parasitical?

Incurable disease that's waterborne, airborne and uses every opther method of transmission we know?

I'd barricade myself in my shed with food and medical supplys, with a few extension cords going to the house so I can contact this forum and make a shed-blog. I can also attempt the tame the mouse that lives in there.

There's always a very small margin of people who are immune, I'd guess I'd hope I was one of them.

You mean a disease like THIS http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8019566.stm

Edit: Oh you'r already aware oh well PANIC! IRRATIONALLY! ANYWAY!

well okay thats probably not quite as lethal as the hypothetical infection but still.

Anyway I would, go into Scotland or Ireland and hide out in the mountains with supplies and weapons, I'd kill anything I came into contact with and stay their until television reporters come to tell me the infection died out years ago and can they have an interview with the crazy cave man.
