ok this should be a simple question.

im a little stuck in... vesplume? tower. i have much too little potions and at the next checkpoint there is a shop to restock, the problem is that i can't get to that checkpoint without dieing.
I need some tips to conserve my parties health while fighting my way to the next checkpoint.
I have Sigmund, and the bear in my party, so little heals.
tips? help?

Have you got a previous save which you can go back to? I would suggest balancing your party out more, which means putting an healer in your party (Eugene or Michelle, or both, i chose both, along side Capell and Sigmund) and with that party i had no troubles getting through it, since both Michelle and Eugene could heal, and they also both had some good damage spells. With that party the only thing that managed to kill me was the first time i battled the Shadows(I didn't go for Eugene and Michelle first, which was stupid of me.. owned them the second time however).

Through the entire game i used mainly the same people, Capell, Aya, Edward and Eugene usually, with other party members being swapped in when some characters are unavailable. I found it's best to have a balanced party, so with the party i usually used, theres Capell and Edward for melee damage, Aya for ranged and back up healing and then Eugene for healing and magic damage(Although nearer the end of the game, he was mainly healer, and didn't have any time to do any damage). Although for Vesplume tower, you couldn't use Ed nor Aya.

haha ya i ALWAYS have aya in my party but in this board they dont allow aya in it, BUT thankfully with a clear mind after walking around the block. I got to the next checkpoint with ALL of my 50% potions intact! Thanks for the good tips though Akihiko.
but when you say save point... does this mean i can change my party at any checkpoint/savepoint? that would be very useful information!

Nah, you can only change your party at towns and at certain points in the game(Like before a mission it usually comes up with the screen to set your party), I mean more if you had a save before you entered the tower then which you could just redo the tower with a different party.

But nice work on getting up the tower, if i recall correctly, for the boss at the top of the tower, all of your 3 parties help you in defeating the boss, so if you just make sure to watch your health then you should be fine throughout the tower as long as you manage to get to the top. Although the Shadows might prove to be difficult since you've got an all Melee party, but if you concentrate your attacks on the party member with the lowest health first then as long as you're careful it shouldn't be much of a problem.
