This patch has been out...less than a day? And people have already found out how to break it?
It's possable that they intended for the "bug" to remain, all glitching aside this game isn't exactly balanced.

Luls'd. I'll stick with my ACR/Spaz 12 combo.
Ha, thats the same setup I use for non-hardcore matches.

It's just a couple of weapons. I don't get the big deal.
The deal is most people don't describe getting their face blasted off every 30 seconds by dicks who abuse the game's balance issues as "fun".
I never had that much of a problem.

Sure, it was a pain, but I've died more times at the hands of really skilled players than at the hands of people who exploit balance issues

Although Infinity Ward patched the 1887s for range, if you use bling pro and attach FMJ with the Akimbo, you have the same range as pre patched.

What do you think of this?

Personally, I'm a bit annoyed at them.
im glad cause if it wasnt for its range it would be a crappy shotgun.

I thought the game was aboot realism, not balance.
Yeeeah no. CoD is an arcade shooter with nods toward realism. Therefore, balance needs to be kept.

And usually you see people running around with Marathon when they use the models. So if you need to use Bling Pro and put FMJ on them, you have effectively taken away their advantage of being extremely mobile, which was one of their problems.

1887s...sheesh...whenever I see someone running akimbo with those things I just start throwing flashbangs and hope I get a headshot before the runner gets into range.

You have good taste. Nothing more satisfying than a Spaz 12. I loves me some pump action. ACR is nice and accurate at mid range as well.

I have a habit of picking guns that feel good over guns that are effective, in MewTwo they so far seem to be the same.

IF you use Bling Pro and FMJ.
You see what I'm getting at?

Also, who gives a crap, them guns aren't that annoying, they'll be even less so with the patch.

Case in point, the thread is griping about how dual wielding a 10 gauge shotgun is overpowered.

Basically the only way someone could "realistical" dual wield the 1887s is if they were a cybernetic assassin sent from the future with a fondness for black leather and cheesy 80s pickup lines.

Heard about this from my friends. Before I locked them in my dungeon basement so they would shut the hell up

*sigh*.
I'm getting the game in a few days...
Are people still going to be playing by the time I get it?
( :p )

At the same time though, as said before... You're using all these perks etc. to get back what was lost, and as such, have lost the ability to use something different in its spot. The 1887's are now less overpowered, just in a different way...

I haven't unlocked the 1887s myself, but I picked some up and an akimbo blast took a guy out from the top of the escalator on Terminal to the downstairs door leading in from the runway. Granted, I'm using Stopping Power (the only way the ACR is worthwhile), but still.

ACR, everyone was raving on about how great it was, finally unlocked it.
Its like a sniper with a silencer, only good on hardcore.
It's the only gun I've gotten enough headshots with the get up to the Blue Tiger finish. The iron sights on it are crazy good.

I'll probably switch back to the M16 soon though. I just needed a change from burst fire and the TAL felt too weak.

And even then they'll only use one, just one handed.

Well if guns kill people in a game, the community gets angry and asks the developer to make the guns harmless. Like real life?
Of course, why didn't I think of that?
