Why are both words in the title spelt wrong?

It's Inglorious Bastards.

Its a spoof to a bad english/french accent.

Also its a Tarantino movie I highly doubt he is trying to be historical acurate, so who cares if is portray of Nazis are baby eaters and necrophiliacs, at least we will have fun deaths and cool one-liners!

Thank you, finally. Tarantino wants you to think his movies are realistic, then throws anime in the middle, and starts it from the end. Just take it for what it is.

I dunno, I didn't really like the idea of a Tarantino WWII film when I first heard about it, and I'm not sure I'm convinced by the trailer. We'll see, I guess. I'm not going to say it looks terrible - and people complaining about the movie making all Germans seem like one-dimensional stand-ins of evil are pretty clearly not watching the same trailer I am - but this trailer isn't pumping me up like the Kill Bill ones did.

Tarantino wants you to think his movies are realistic?? Have you never seen a single Tarantino movie? The whole point of them is that they're not realistic.

It's loking pretty bad. Brad Pitt can't act, Tarantino goes over the top with everything he does except Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. And it also seems as if all it's going to be is Americans shooting Nazis (actually, looks more like shooting every male adult German in sight).

Brad can indeed act, but let's be honest: Brad in that trailer looked áwfull, the accent sounds horribly fake and how he moves....yuch, it looks so...amateurish. He's brilliant in the movies you name though. Still, I look forward to this movie, a WW2 movie by Tarantino...áwesome!

Actually, Burn After Reading did get pretty terrible reviews, but I'm not saying that's Brad Pitt's fault.

And Brad Pitt may not be the best actor in the world but he is not the worst one either.

Is it just me or does this movie look like more of a serious plot comedy than a war movie. Tarantino is a descent director, and Pitt can definitely act well so should be a hoot

Pitt's an average actor, nothing more, and this film better be a comedy with a cleverly edited trailer or he's gonna sink even lower in my estimations.

Tarantino has always striked Me as someone who makes Movies not to show "Both viewpoints"(not in this movie anyway) or make anything introspective, it's his natural flair to deliver movies like this...

Also anyone complaining about that lack of viewpoint should know their are German people in this film portrayed as Good from what I have read
