Not really. The bit at the very end was kinda gross, but nothing else in the film was that bad. your reveiw was too brief, and you didn't show why you liked it or anything.

As I said in your other thread, please don't advertise your blog. It's frowned upon. This is the second or third time you've done this, so please stop it.

Oh delicious irony.

BTW I'm pretty sure Inglourious Basterds isn't that violent. Or so I heard.

I checked it out yesterday. It had violent parts but was not the worst film I've ever seen when it comes to that kind of stuff. The movie was pretty good and I recommend checking it out. The trailers made it seem much more like an action flick but it's more of a series of really tense scenes.

So this is too violent, not including Kill Bill graphic violence or Jacky Brown's mental mind fuck with it's violence. They never happened, right. Not saying the violence is bad, just don't think that this is his worst film in the killing department.

Saw it yesterday and the movie was alright. It isn't anywhere near as viloent as you would expect it to be and the movie did have some serious issues. Primarily the movie is called inglorious basterds a direct link to the basterds about which the movie is meant to be based around. So why then is half the movie spent following two other characters who have nothing to do with them until the very last chapter of the film?

Why given the nature of what they were meant to be up to did we not actually see anything they did beyond one scene. Also the major ending of the film is kind of in direct contradiction to what the guys were sent in to Germany to do in the first place.

It wasn't very violent or gory. But would you expect any less from Tarantino? All of his movies are incredibly violent and gory, so if you would compare glorious basterds to the rest of his movies, it is not at all violent or gory. If you compare it to other main stream movies, you could consider some parts gory, but over all it is pretty average as far as violent movies go. In my opinion, pretty tame for Tarantino.

Why the strange typo in the title of the film, by the way?
Tarantino named the film after some old film that was spelt that way. (there's more to it then that but I can't remember the rest)

Yeah, it's not. It's very dialog and atmosphere heavy. The violence comes in short, extremely intense bursts and then it's done.

But, if you wanna scalp Nazis, this is the film to watch to get pointers on it.

Would expect nothing less from that crazy genius of a man.

Too bad about his early peaking though.
