wow, internal bleeding, blood vessels pop but the skin doesnt break... I always just ignore them, if I went to the doctor every time that happened my doctor could make a living just on me.

those are ruptured blood vessels and internal bruising
you should ice it and go see a doctor to see if any bone fragments are loose or chipped
the little spots are probably clots that are forming to seal up the damaged vessels

usually its no big deal but if you have a bunch of clots and lose bone fragments they could travel with your bloodstream to organs, 99% of the time they are no threat at all, especially if your in decent health

If it doesn't hurt and it isn't spreading or getting worse, congratulations, you have broken some capillaries and have some fancy new artwork that will go away soon.
What is the time frame of them going away, they are still on my finger and look exactly the same as they did two weeks ago.

Pretty sure you'll be fine mate. If nothing has happened in two weeks nothing is likely to happen. Keep watch, if anything changes then see your doctor. Until that time though, don't stress.

Yeah, I know that my finger isn't going to fall off or anything like that, its just that the specks are rather annoying. The sooner they're gone the better :)

Mmm... yes there is that to consider. I don't think you can do anything put wait though mate, unless you've really messed up your capillary beds and the spots are permanent... but lets not think thoughts like that shall we?

I also thought it was blood pooling under the skin or some type of internal bruising, but after a week both of those should have gone away. I'd go see a doctor.

Depends on the depth in the skin. It could actually take a really long time.
