Injustice - Can I play with People outside the UK

I'm trying to play with a Norwegian friend, but whenever I invite her to a game, the session ends or she can't find my "room"
Are we unable to play at all due to region locking or something?

Apparently the Xbox version is not region locked but the Playstation versions are I dont know if that is 100% accurate its just what I have heard I dont know about the PC and WiiU versions nor what their logic in region locking online matches are.
