I've worked in prisons for a while now, and that is a bad example of a tattoo gun. He's using the PS power supply, which makes it too big, and easy to find. He should use batteries to power it. And as for inmates playing video games, I'm all for it. Some of them never leave their cells if they have games to play! The only problems are they will kill each other over a $50 game, an a PS2 will play porn DVDs.
If they're allowed to have playstations, I also think it might be very easy to house all the parts inside of the PSX while not using it. Then, when they search your cell all they see is a playstation. But this guy is already dumb enough to be in prison in the first place, so I can't see him being smart enough to think of that.

You see, if he was REALLY smart, he would've jury-rigged a connection from the controller port directly to the power supply, put the PS1 back together, and wire his pen to a controller plug. Just keep the pen hidden when you're not using it, and then plug it into the PS1 when the guards aren't around.

After Googling "playstation tattoo machine diy", I'm a bit disappointed that none of the do-it-yourself blogs have posted instructions for this. I'm not suggesting anyone actually build an InkStation, but I thought someone would do a hypothetical step-by-step for the lulz.

anyway how do you feel about capital punishment? i think it's a capital idea. (for murders only)
Theres alot wrong with your attitude here and in your previous posts. The duty of teh prison system s to reform teh criminal and lessen crime. Not to extract some eye for and eye justice from criminals. Selling inmates these items helps to fund the system, also they become luxurys, which can be taken away in teh event of rule breaking. As it was put by Treblaine you cant have all stick and no carrot. They are convicts yes but they are not animals, your talking about people who may have stolen because they couldnt eat, or insurance swindlers, or the guy who got caught in a drunken brawl. These people are not innocent but they dont deserve to be locked in cages all day like dogs. Convicts must learn that they need to find a legitiamte place in society, by your reckoning of "I doubt ex-cons could get a job" What do you think happens to the ones who are released every year? If they were all just going into crime then we wouldnt have let them out in the first place. We dont live in a caste system, criminals who have been released have paid their debt and should be free to continue about their lives without people like you calling them up on things they did many years ago when they were differant people.

That being said i do have many disagreements with the system, the life sentence for one should be for life, but should come with the option of the death penalty for the inmate to decide. I he wants to rot let him, if he wants the shot let him. The cost of keeping an inmate for life is high I know but I suggest it only for the most egrigous of offences.
