I have trust issues. I'm actually fine around people I don't know and a few friends I've had for a long time, but when I start getting close to new people, I start worrying. And I have random moments of extreme shyness, which can make social situations awkward.
this isn't an insecurity, every culture has a space bubble and rules on how big it is, who can violate the space, when it can violated.....it is generally different for each culture and is a social norm.....in the US it is around three feettoasterslayer said:
Exactly the same for me. I was at a film-making society meeting earlier, coming up with ideas for our next project. I never really give a major input in the group discussion, although I know everyone in the group and get on great with them, I still find it awkward to raise my voice when I have an idea.
