Depends on whether your model supports 10.8 or 10.9 and also if your specs meet what is required for the actual game. Without knowing what you've got it's hard to give a more definitive answer.
I have to admit I don't exactly know what you're asking. But Mavericks does run fine, even on older machines like mine (late 2009 white MacBook). Only two applications weren't compatible, an app for using a cheap drawing tablet, and VMWare Fusion 3.
