Intel Cancels Project Offset

The sad part is when this whole 'Project' was just 3 guys in their garage, they were kept afloat by fan donations.

So they made bank selling their engine, and the people who had faith in them (and put their money where their mouth was) to release a kickass game are basically given the finger.

The Project Offset developers ought to be ashamed. Once they were acquired by Intel, I'm sure they didn't have much say in the matter, but still. What a disservice to their loyal fans.

I was really looking forward to this, much much more than Duke Nukem Forever. This has put a real damper on my day.

We missed a treat there. Like Dark Messiah only EPIC!!! (That said, the game engine did look like something Epic would make with their beloved Unreal 3 engine)
