Okay, so I am sick of seeing Role Plays begin, and not finish. I am also sick of the lack of variety... of which I am partly guilty of making some... So, I have decided to try something different, a modern day, non-fantasy murder plot. Less action and little physical fights unless a character reaches his threshold and a fight between people breaks out.
The plot is only a skeleton as of yet, but here is what I have.
A corrupt politician who is in charge of some sort of controversial bill... I dunno... Lets say gay rights or abortion for now, and many people want him dead. Despite the danger, he holds a fund-raiser on a boat of his, and invites a few important people (The characters). Each character, has a reason for murdering him, and each one will be a suspect, and will be treated as one. He has done some nasty stuff, such as ruin families, destroy businesses, kill puppies, whatever, this is an absolute jerk.
All of the characters will be suspects, and will be treated as such. It is the duty of the of the other people (plus a detective for plot help I suppose), to find out who did it.
You will be isolated on the boat until the killer is found, or everyone else is dead, so the killer wins. The Killer can be aggressive, or passive, waiting for the rest of the group to kill themselves, or give up.
This will hopefully be a quite short and story driven Role Play. If you want to be the killer, dedication is required, so we aren't stranded without a killer.
