What art have you recently found interesting? If you have something post it. It could also be your favourite art piece or something you've done yourself. Even a poem.

I just came across this video and thought it was quite interesting. I'm not much of an artist myself (at least in the painting sense) but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it and appreciate this I did (albeit a bit corny).

"This video shows the winner of 2009 Ukraine "Got Talent", Kseniya Simonova, 24, drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II. Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch."

That's off the mac sample desktops isn't it?

OP: Well, I've been reading the poems of Micheal Longley and Ted Hughes, and they're very interesting.
I wouldn't know. I've never owned or had prolonged contact with a Mac.

Yes, it is one of the pre-installed desktop backgrounds on an OSX mac.

If you look up raybender's gallery on DeviantArt, he's got some really nice digital art pieces.

Wow, just wow

OT: I've found concept art to be very interesting myself

Still good though. Interesting doesn't have to mean obscure.

This is a personal favourite of mine:

Oh, I know how to do that! /pride

You fiddle with the exposure so the lens stays open for longer and water ends up looking like smoke. :)

Just spend an evening on DeviantArt searching for your favorite game, anime, movie, book etc and you will be amazed. Or just use keywords like "epic". There really is some awesome stuff on that site.
