Well they probably ended up setting up the camp near a dump site the gov's military used for whatever. and im also guessing they were attack by a wild animal. Also, maybe for some being naked, and im not sure if this is reasonable enough but, at a certain point in hypothermia, when it gets severe, you start to feel very hot like its a weird reaction to the cold, and it can feel so hot that some people would take off there cloths to cool down even when they know they are in the cold. idk what its called, but once you get to that stage, death is almost inevitable.Echer123 said:

This is an urban legend. One of a great many weird, creepy or funny stories that crop up in the news every now and again, despite having been debunked repeatedly.
Where are these stories coming from? If this Doberman incident never happened (and there is no evidence that it ever did), how did it make the news in the first place? Why does it KEEP making the news?

The radiation was bullshit. Wikipedia quotes a russian hack doing an 'ooh, isn't it mysterious piece'. The original investigation found nothing out of the ordinary, incidental contamination.
At least read some of the skeptical analysis from the wikipedia page you quoted. It's even been debunked on QI.
It's a tragic event, but not even remotely creepy.
