I know some of you lot have them, so share.

I really find it plausible how the Heroe's Shade in TLOZ: Twilight Princess, is Link the hero of time!

I've always found the "Gary's Raticate is dead" theory from Red/Blue/Yellow to be quite interesting.

Well i'm calling the ME3 Indoctrination Theory. Best thing to come out of that sorry mess besides a certain Marauder of course.

The thing is so interesting that it almost makes up for the complete failure to bring closure to anything. I can deal with the Relays blowing up, it's only natural after all. You want to be free of the Reapers? Go and forge your own path, with your own technology. Pierce the heavens with your own strength not with the tainted shortcut the Reapers provide! That's the way Team Dai Shepard rolls!

But y'know i'd like to know wtf actually happened to the damn characters.

Oh and this is probably just alternate character interpretation on my part but I get the impression that the main character in Persona 3 FES is a complete dickbiscuit who doesn't really give a fuck about this friendship bullshit and is just leeching S.Link power from these fakeish bonds.

I can honestly tell you that I could not state a reason as to why the MC was even bothered. The dialogue has little friendship based stuff, you basically need to start a harem to get the female Social Links to max and the words "I don't care" come up in his dialogue choices disturbingly often.

Y'know when everyone's all "what is my reason for fighting?" I was pondering that for the MC as well and christ I couldn't come up with anything besides "well the world's gonna end so I may as well save myself"

Though I still cried at the fucking ending. Damn you Aigis. Why are you so awesome?

Maybe a second runthrough might give a new insight, yet the horrible party AI just makes me want to go and play Persona 4 instead. So I do. XD

I think the best ones were surrounding Banjo Kazooie's Stop 'N' Swop.

The whole raising Sharkfood Island thing was really interesting, I remember saying when I was a kid that it was impossible. I sure did eat my words.

Though to be fair, short from going into the programming to figure out the cheat code, I had no way of knowing how it was meant to be done.

Edit: Oh oh, and the Missingno thing (Pokemon Red and Blue)! How the hell did I forget that?
While I'm at it I'll include the theories to get Mew, including the 'Mew is under the truck' myth.

In the old Punch Out, if you sat and watched Soda Popinski drink soda pop, he would be tougher to beat because he drank more soda.

In the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, there's speculation that Majora was actually a demon created by the goddesses to destroy Termina for worshiping the giants. Great speculation, really.

That was a darn good read. I think I might need to go play Majora's Mask again after that.

Now where did I put that N64...

The under the truck myth was proven false a long time ago.

There is a totally legit way of getting Mew on Red/Blue that requires hex glitching.

DAMN SOMEBODY ALREADY MENTIONED POLIBUIS.

Anywho, I would have to say the Lavender Town suicide music, and the Indocternation theory in Mass Effect. Made more sense after I beat the third one.

Also this

This one isn't about gaming, but I thought it was pretty cool.
http://fellowof.wordpress.com/2011/04/28/an-inconvenient-truth-about-my-neighbor-totoro/

EDIT: Forgot about this one:
After the death of his parents, Bruce Wayne's young mind cracked and he created the character Batman as a detective that would solve the mystery of his parents' murder. Alfred couldn't take care of the child that had gone insane with grief, so he sent him to Arkham Asylum, a place Bruce grew to revile. In Bruce's delusional state, he made villains out of the caretakers and gave them names based on their physical characteristics or general demeanor. Since he would never solve his parents' murder, he created stories in which these villains hatched preposterous schemes and he would foil them as a means to keep himself distracted.

Alfred would come to visit and attempt to be the voice of reason, but never could really get through. Dr. Jonathan Crane tried various methods to snap Bruce back into reality, but Bruce's reality is so terrifying that he receded back into the delusion. Dr. Edward Nigma, a therapist, would try to reason Bruce back in to the real world, but Bruce would twist his words into riddles. So, he continues to chase these villains and bring them to Arkham Asylum from which they will inevitably escape - because they were never actually incarcerated.

Damn you and your Cracked link. I had to read that and about 4 other things that looked interesting. One I just had to click on because it had a pic of Mr Rodgers flipping the bird; I get lost in that site sometimes.
I'd heard about the Polybius game but I never saw the mockups. That is trippy the conspiracy theory reminds me of that movie The Last Starfighter; for you youngsters, it was one of the first movies to use computer graphics for special effects...to today's standards, looks a bit like a Dreamcast game.

I was surprised to not see the ancient video game burial ground filled with ET cartridges and Ataris...or the poor people who lived in the house built over it. That's always been my favorite though, now that I've seen it, that Polybius cabinet might take the cake.
