[Captain Spiral]

I've seen threads about the interesting habits we all have, but what about our furred, scaled, and feathered companions?

Examples: I have three dogs...

~Two of my dogs are afraid of rain and thunderstorms and have to sleep with me when they occur.

~My biggest dog likes to lay on the back of the couch as if he were a lap dog and if you put glasses near his face he will cover his nose and eyes.

~My smallest dog finds my female dog attractive when we put her in human clothes and he tries to hump her (only when she is in clothes, mind you)



What about your pets?

My dog dances for treats. He hops onto his hind-legs and spins back and forth.

My flatmate's cat isn't particularily weird, but he does prefer to sleep in a cramped towel rack in the bathroom instead of his bed or the couch.

my dog barks at the TV when theres another dog on it, whoever said dogs cant see tv is full of shit

My dog doesn't like food.
He won't eat out of anyone's hands, off the floor and only eats half of his dinner (usually the meat bits).
Also he barks at anything new in the house eg. a new piece of furniture (or even an old bit that has been moved).

My Dog stits on the sofa like a human, Oh...and whenever you stop itching her nose she goes "rarwwww" and paws your hand, this can go on for hours

I had 3 ducks as a kid. They were ridiculously good at teamwork, they found ways to stack on top of each other to get out of their box and once one got boosted over it would sway on the box to tip it over and let the others out. They were also able to squeeze between things 1/4th of their size and jump several feet into the air despite them being hatchlings.
Also domesticated ducks (ones handled by humans since birth) as completely different to ones raised on a farm. Mine loved to be petted and hugged, ones that just were around people were pretty violent. This one guy I knew got his arm broken by a duck who hit him with his wing.

Also, I found out much much later that it is illegal to own ducks and or geese in many cities, and the city will actually send out animal control to put down the pets right then and there. To this day I still can't image how much hell I would've raised or even possibly harmed the person if they waltzed into my yard and killed my pets.

Oh and I just remembered. My cockatiel, Aloluca, will go 'spelunking' in crevices like between couch cushions that are spaced apart as well as climb into baskets and begin rocking from side to side. Strange bird that one.

My dog does a similar thing, when you stop patting her, she paws at you and goes 'ommm rarwww'
My dog is also incredibly fat

My dog also walks kind of like a crab, facing forward, but walks kinda diagonal...

my bird dances abuses people will ask for a pat or food and will rip ur fingers off when u stick them in the cage says thankyou when u give him food and dunks twisties and other chips in his water b4 eating them

He loves to bark at me. No one else. Just me. And he loves heights. The higher he can get, the better. If there's a way for him to make his way up to the tallest bookshelf, he will find it. And he loves toys and balls, and has to play with two at once. He'll runn around with a toy in his mouth while playing soccer with a ball. And he loves to empty his food/ water bowls and use them as toys or to carry his toys around in.

My mother's cat will with devilish intent look as cute as possible. She also used to claw you if you ignored her. I think the word ***** works here, but she's a lot calmer nowadays.

I have a chameleon. He's mainly green, but he'll go black if he's pissed off.

My cocker Spaniel used to run out into the middle of the street, and get hit by cars.
It was sorta funny how she always just walked back into the house afterward like nothing happened at all.

i just have 2 dogs, fairly normal terriers. But a mate of mine has a saint bernard, and called it catherine, but the whole family call it kitty for short. So all you see is them calling "here kitty kitty kitty" and a huge bethovenesque dog comes bounding into the room. He also got four baby turtles and a rat.....hes pure legend.

my labrador howls whenever my sister plays the trumpet, once ate lamb chops straight off the barbeque as well as her own studded collar. and i swear that she responds better to commands in german than in english, buts probably just because i sound more dominant when speaking in german
