Internet Browser Crashes (Again)

A while back I posted a topic about my browser constantly crashing and I wiped the browser cache and things and it stopped for a while.

But now it is doing it again and It won't stop sometimes it crashes just after I restart it.

I am using firefox 4.0 but it also crashes on other browsers.

Any help would be most appreciated

(it is also screwing with my bookmarks, reverting back to an older version each time it crashes, and it's doing it multiple times a day. I'm suprised it didn't crash whilst writing this actually)

Have the task manager open and see if any processes are spiking when the browser crashes. If it just tells you the browser process then it's not a great deal of help, but it might be a single add-on that is causing the problems. Or worse, some adware that snuck onto your system.

You say other browsers crash? Which ones have you tried? Does Chrome crash too, because that generally do not have any addons, so I suggest trying Chrome (which is awesome BTW)

It crashes on chrome and the normal firefox, as in not 4.0

I use Internet Explorer 9 and The Escapist website constantly causes it IE 9 to stop working and close the page, enough times of this and I get an error page that tells me IE is unable to return to the escapistmagazine.com/IE has stopped trying to restore this website. This happens within 5 seconds of going anywhere on the Escapist website, happens on evrey page. This didn't happen at all until yesterday after their website maintenance. This is the only website this is happening to me on whether I run in compatibility mode or not.

I barely managed to post this copying and pasting it from a text document before the error comes back, I can't even really serach the Escapist forums for a solution the error comes so quick.
