Firefox for the win.
Best range of plugins, low memory usage, great inbuilt popup blocker, 'nuff said.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that because Firefox is Open Source it is updated with a much greater frequency than the other browsers and as such has fewer bugs and offers superior protection from exploits/spyware/adware/hax/etc.

If anyone here is still using IE7 you should get on Firefox immediately.

For those that prostrate before the altar of Google: Chrome is merely a Firefox ripoff with less functionality and customisation options.

Firefox. I had IE with my old laptop when I didn't even know there were any alternatives, then it BSOD and died, and when I was looking for solutions somewhere said that computer always get virused up with IE and that Firefox was better. So when I got my new PC I got that, haven't really noticed a difference though.

It is strange that something as simple as an app that lets you view webpages would have fanboys. Still, this is the internet, I suppose.

Safari on my Mac, Firefox in windows.

EDIT: I just looked at this "Speed Dial" thing; the new safari has the same feature, it looks much more customisable and much nicer in it too :p

Firefox because of it's wide range of addons, I got addicted to UI addons after playing WoW.

It might sound like fanboyism but for the sake of your own safe internet browsing you should really use Firefox, especially if you are on XP.

I enthuse about all the apps I like. Its the 'referral' method of rewarding those that improve my computer using experience when I'm not paying for their creations. You could say that we should all be obliged to recommend the stuff we use, especially if it is worth recommending.

Firefox here. Anyone using IE6 needs to be shot. IE6 had so many gaping security holes it's a wonder that anyone could ever use it and still have a working computer. IE7 was a fair improvement, but it only just caught up to FF IMO. I haven't tried IE8.

Firefox, I still can't get used to Chrome...I don't like the layout.

Plus, Firefox is really customizable. Personas!

Does google chrome have any addons like Firefox? Like for example, a small weather forecast on my status bar, and ability to block images and only load up specific ones by right clicking, etc. I suppose being google, they would have those kind of things. But how hard is it to use them?

Also, are there any compatibility issues with various sites, especially ones that heavily utilize java scripts/flash?
