I realized I haven't done a lot of things online that other people have done. It seems like that list is growing with every new app and innovation. So, yesterday, I came up with a list of things I would like to do online that I haven't done yet. I don't want to ninja people with my list in the first post. I'll give just one example of what I'm talking about. I have never posted a selfie. I once tested a digital camera in front of a mirror to figure out how it works. The pictures from that was of a confused dork holding a camera. Nothing I ever wanted to share. So, I deleted them.

What are some of the things that you haven't done online that you want to try just once? Even use this thread to post your first attempt trying something new. If you have done everything already, what are some things that everybody should at least try once online?

There isn't much I haven't done that I want to do. I don't have a Twitter, Facebook, tumblr, Reddit account, Instagram account, or whatever that stupid app where people swipe left and right is. I think it has to do with dating, because 'hip' and 'trendy' comedians always end their bad date stories with swiping in one direction or another. Pretty sure I have a YouTube account, but I don't remember the password, what email account its under or if I've ever commented on a video.
Just seems like a massive times-sink, and there are video games to play.

I wouldn't mind participating in an AMA on reddit(asking questions, not answering) but I can't be bothered to track that thread or to even make an account.

OH! I know! I want to enter an online contest and get the grand prize! Like some stupid Escapist contest where they ask us to write a poem about how much we like noodles or something, and the ultimate prize is a free gaming PC or PS4. And I win it.
That's something I'd like to do.

I feared this one was going to be one of those "Maybe, it's just me." topic. I'm in the minority with my attitude about the internet. I view the internet the same way I do television. Sure, I enjoy using both as entertainment for, at most, couple of hours a day. Longer than that, I feel like I am wasting time ignoring important tasks and having a social life.

Here's a handful of things I wouldn't mind trying online in the near future:

1. Making a GIF: I tried to make one the other day. I realized I need to use Photoshop to make one.
2. Learn Photoshop
3. Check out a free dating site like Tinder: I have constantly read that people use Tinder more as a game than use it as a way to hook-up.
4. Post a video playing a cover song: I don't know why I wrote that down the other day. The only thing I can think of is I haven't played a musical instrument for awhile. I would like an excuse to pick it up again.
5. World of Warcraft: I picked up a copy of the game a few months ago. I still haven't load it up yet. It seems like it requires a big commitment for just playing a game.
