Seems that someone is finally organising a protest against the Clean Feed (Australia, for those of you not in the know). First one I've heard of anyhow.

Details are here [http://operationdilbert.wikidot.com/].

I don't know about you, but I'm going.

Anybody else?

Does this mean the Australian government will be bombed?

As long as Atkinson is burned I will join!

Well, if you can bypass it I don't see the point...
Several reasons;

1. We shouldn't have to bypass it. It's a civil rights issue. Probably another reason why we need a Bill of Rights in Australia.

2. It has the potential to increase internet costs (which apparently are expensive compared to other countries, but I wouldn't know).

3. It also has the potential to slow down connection speeds.

Preach it! To quote Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri:
"As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last loose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master."

-- Commissioner Pravin Lal, "Librarian's Preface" (found here [http://www.firaxis.com/smac/lal.cfm])
Information may not want to be free, but people do, and we need freedom of information to retain our liberty.
