I've only used Internet Explorer to download Firefox, IE therefor would be the unpopular girl, and Firefox and Chrome would be equally attractive women with Chrome being fitter and Firefox being smarter.

Unless the viruses have tentacles, she hasn't reached the dark side of anything yet.
How does she fight 4chan anyway?

"We don't love Internet Explorer in the past," the group wrote on its website [http://www.collateralds.com/news/random/the-story-of-aizawa-inori/ ]. "It is bulky, slow... Within our research, we learnt that [redemption] is the theme for the latest IE10 campaign. They had grown up to be better and perhaps we should give them a chance." "But after being offered 100,000,000 Yen to design this ad campaign, we LOVE IE, and so should YOU!"

I don't know about you... but didn't that big evil robot in the end look sorta... foxish?

That made me laugh.

She's using IE shields to defend herself and fight off robots, but isn't IE the easiest to exploit browser there is? I think it would be more appropriate if her shield instantly broke and she died.
Ironically, it's because IE allowed you to do so much more than the other browsers that it was so easily exploited. Firefox was a much dumber program, with fewer ways to crack it, which is what made it better to use when it first came out.

Now and days, if Firefox gives me issues, I still go to IE in order to get a site uploaded. I believe it's still the "smartest" browser.

I would contend that Inori-chan is not really moe. Although now I've called her Inori-chan that might be invalid.

I enjoy the fact that she has her own version of the browser, presumably with her face and chiibi pics of her plastered everywhere. We use IE at work (alongside her nemesis Gougeru Kuroumu) so I'll probably get the Inori version for use there ^^

Ok, it seen even a robot can make a wilhelm scream!

Wait, she was fighting "the dark side of the internet"? If that were truly the case, the foes would of been must darker than that!!

As cool as a little vid it is, I'm still not fond of the browser. I wouldn't mind seeing more short films like this for the other systems. I wonder how cool that would be.

What a missed opportunity! No tentacle monster with a Chrome logo on it.

I'll stick to Firefox.

IE has gotten much better with later iterations. IE 11 (On Win 8.1) is blistering and genuinely pretty damned good. For all the complaints, I should mention I have about 100 tabs open right now (screenshots if you really want) and it's not missing a beat. Development tools (since I am one) are top notch and as something that should scare you, it actually does really damned well in the speed category, especially with GPU boosting (enabled by default).

So yeah, IE is better than you remember.

As much as I love OS girls, this isn't enough to convince me to use IE over Firefox. :\

I might try IE 11. Chrome is starting to piss me off, especially given how I seem to have got a google+ account I never asked for courtesy of youtube. It feels like its following me around the web, taking notes.

I know other browsers will do that too, but I'd like to at least make it slightly hard for them, as opposed to giving one company all my data.

I don't know. It would take a lot more marketing and brainwashing to make me use IE again.

On the other hand, I still have this.

So was I the only one that heard a faint Wilhelm scream in there, shortly after the transformation scene but before the IE beam spam?

Honestly the animation is not bad and I am glad that they realize how popular the IE-tan craze is here. Don't expect to see me using it though.

"Inori Aizawa, an original anime character who fights 'the dark side of the internet.'"

Oh God... What have they done? there's no way for this to end well for anyone.
