In Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver there's an interacting between you and someone, I forget who, and they say 'a winner is you' and it made me smile that I was part of the big dysfunctional internet family.

Group hug anyone?

More cake reference: There's a Modern Warfare 2 title that says "Companion Crate." I don't care if I ever get lvl 10 prestige or all the nuke related titles. Once I got that one, I'm never going back.

All Blizzard games are packed with geeky in-jokes, World Of Warcraft especially. I think they have an Achievement for getting over 9000 arena points, or something like that.

In fact, it's usually Achievement names that have the references in them. It's very late here, so I'm having trouble thinking of any off the top of my head, but I know plenty of games (especially Valve games) have various Achievements named after memes.

If you find out the name of said game, PLEEEEEEEASSSE send me the name!!!!!

But, to be honest, I don't notice the memes in games.
EXCEPT for the BanHammer in Morrowind 3.
By the Gods, did I ban the trolls!

But sadly, the Banhammer broke, and so did the save game.

Tf2 is so filled with them put in so cleverly that they have often made it their own.

Heavy Sandvich eating is, Om Nom Nom Nom Nom.

The Pyro uses the Sandperson attacking Luke staff raise for his flamethrower taunt.

The Eyelander?

The Ambassador?

Dr. No?

The Hadoken taunt?

The Soldier insulting the Sniper saying that the amount of violence he is able to get does not prepare him for war?

One can't even begin to count how many Memes are in this game.

In Dragon Age Origins, in the start of the Human Noble campaign your first fight is with a whole bunch of rats in a kitchen. Right after your friend says "Wow, its just like the beginnings to those Adventure Stories my grandfather tells me."

In Assassin's Creed 2, when you come across your Uncle Mario for the first time, he says "Don't you remember me? It's a-me! Mario!"

I cracked up for two minutes straight.
Oh my god that was awesome. I'm going to go youtube that...
Portal references the cake... Wait.
Achievements can be cool, none come to mind right now.

When you kill yourself, or die in any way other than being killed by your enemy in BF:BC2, where it would ordinarily show the player who killed you's loadout and name, it just shows EPIC FAIL.
