If i do recall correctly, there was an achivement in Dante's Inferno doing a parody of "2 Girls, 1 Cup"

Well, recently while playing World of Warcraft I got an achievement for having grouped with 100 random players which gave me a pet Pug, which was sent to me in a letter ingame.

"In short, we heard you like pugs, so here's a pug for your pug, so you can pug while you pug. Or something."

He says in-game:
"I used to be known as Iolol, until a secret vote was passed around town that resulted in me having to change my name. It was either change it or go the way of Corki. You would have done the same. What do you think of my new name? Huge improvement, right?

By the way, check the bulletin board if you're looking for work."

And prior to a patch, he was named Warden Iolol.

In Tales of Monkey Island: The Lair of the Leviathan, you have to make a guy take a drink by proposing a toast. He asks you what the occasion is, and one of the options to select is "Take your Daughter to Work Day!"

I love it when you get little memes and references like that in-game.

Scribblenauts had its fair share of internet jokes. One of the levels' hint read "for massive damage!" and featured a gigantic crab, an obvious reference to Sony's E3 2006 Conference. Another level featured ceiling cat, and the hint in that read "ceiling cat is watching you...fall." And then there was one level where the hint was just "lol!", and I never could figure it out.

And then you could go and summon things like keyboard cat, leeroy jenkins, and ceiling cat.

I don't remember which phoenix wright game this was in but:

Phoenix: No Maya, this is Sparta.

Haha thats awesome. And I don't think this is a Meme but in Halo 3 a Marine voiced by Adam Baldwin (guy who did Jayne in Firefly) says "It sure would be nice if we had some grenades bout now" (quote from Serenity). That just made me feel warm and fuzzy.

You can get an item in Maple Story called 'Spectral Goggles'. Obviously, it looks like a pair of goggles. The descritpion of the item says something in the lines of 'Who said the goggles do nothing?'.

But, to be honest, I don't notice the memes in games.
EXCEPT for the BanHammer in Morrowind 3.
By the Gods, did I ban the trolls!

But sadly, the Banhammer broke, and so did the save game.

I would have to say just from the release date of the games, that it would be Trials and Tribulations. The other two Phoenix Wright games released too early to put the reference in during localization.

In Assassin's Creed 2, when you come across your Uncle Mario for the first time, he says "Don't you remember me? It's a-me! Mario!"

I cracked up for two minutes straight.

I was like, "FUCK!"

Anyway, a theory as to why he uses that slang is that, because the Animus uses the user's thoughts to 'translate' the characters as effectively as possible, because the Uncle introduced himself as Mario, the Animus detected Desmond's subconsious of Super MArio- and thus put that quote in to relax him a bit.

You just ruined it...
