I've noticed a few patterns on internet forums. The one I've most frequently noticed on (active) forums is this:
Somebody posts a general statement about a specific thing. A statement that could be applied to anything. Here on the escapist recently the post "I didn't like Saving Private Ryan" has started this pattern.
Then other people take the general part and apply it to lots of other things in a short period (I didn't like Star Craft 1 ect.).
Then, people get sick of seeing posts that aren't repeats only by the slimmest technicality and post something like "I'm sick of these 'I didn't like' threads".
Sometimes so many people will do that, other people will start posting threads called:
" I'm sick of these "I'm sick of these 'I didn't like' threads" "
have you noticed any patterns like this?
EDIT:
why is NO ONE answering my question?
Do ya'll know of any internet patterns that are NOT THE ONE I SAID?
You're just talking about hipocracy in my post because I'm "complaining". I was siting that as an example. I personally find it funny and don't mind it at all. It's just a pattern I've seen.
