Internet Radio-stations?

I've been thinking of setting up a small radio music station on the internet for a music forum site i use.The problem is of course,i have no experience with such things.

What i ask you,fellow escapists:

Have you ever used/made/listened on an internet station/Podcast.
If anyone has made small ones,any advice on setting one up?

Note:Is poor and would prefer a cheaper solution.

I've listened to one once, pretty boring. I hate just waiting listening to other people over the internet, and comments don't help.

Reminds me of the Kojima productions podcast, let me sum up a whole episode "Hi, im male!" "Hi, im Japanese and female!" Male - "laddadad, umm, laddadaada, ummm" Female - "uhm, yeah, yes, uhm, yeah".

after hearing her go "yeah, uhm" about 95 times i felt like throwing myself into the nearest iron spike deathpit...which unfortunately, at the time there was non ¬.¬"
