The ones I use most are IIRC, AFAIK, LOL (usually for no apparent reason), IMO/IMHO and NSFW (when posting links). When chatting through YM, BRB and G2G.

It's good to use some every once in a while, just don't abuse.

I try to avoid acronyms when possible, atleast for simple, important ones of course. But here are some that I find myself using alot:

OMFGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-Oh my F*ing God Ghosts!!!!!!!!!!!!! (The exclamation points are mandatory)

OMFGZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-OH my F*ing God Zombies!!!!!!!!!!! (Again, exclamations are important)

OMFGAZSG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- OH MY F*ing GOD ALIEN ZOMBIE SPACE GHOSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Caps Lock and extra exclamations are mandatory. Sorry, but I can't post these any other way)

And yes I realize that this post can make many people's eyes bleed and a lot of you probably hate me right now but please understand the necessity of the caps and exclamation points. I simply have no choice. They're out to get me. Please understand. Please help.
