Internet slow down

So my internet slows down from like 4pm to 7pm the past few days. Any ideas why this would happen? Is it just the peak hour traffic for the internet?

Is this something i can complain about to my ISP or do i just have to live with it.

and by slow down i mean i have to actually puase youtube videos for a bit before watching them so i get a clean play through. Like i have a ping of 400 when its normally 60-150. and my down load speed in .40 meg on speedtest.net when its normally 4-6 meg.

its like living in the stone age, back when they only had dial up

I could live with slow internet but once you taste the sweet sweet tar of high speed information super high wya you cant go back. kind of like goting for a 1080p hdtv back to a old tv. it just makes you cry a little.

it's probably the peak traffic hour. my internet tends to slow down around that time also.

i dont have a hdtv either. were propably like the only 2 in the western world

You shoulda seen me in college. The only time I got less than 200 ping in TF2 was at 4:00 AM, when I couldn't sleep. Like I am right now. Urgh, I dont know why!

its them damn walruses, they are always hogging the bandwidth. Why does a walrus even need to use the internet anyway?

Does your provider have a fair usage policy, or throttle users at peak times who are using too much? It's worth taking a look.

It could be your ISP, or your street, or your neighbor downloading and/or seeding 3000 techno songs.

Or Netflix is finally breaking the internet.
