Interstellar Marines: Immersive MP in games.

Been playing this new game mode from Interstellar Marines for a while now (been locked to paying customers for some time) and it got me thinking that I haven't really had a more immersive multiplayer shooter experience than the dark hallways of the IM training facility (the game's been going slow but I hope we get more and more from the small, dedicated team).

Alien vs Predator comes close and perhaps The Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, but I can't come up with any more or immersive single player games in general, especially lately and especially shooters.

Im very intrigued by this part of my next check is going straight into this.

I donated a long time ago and it's awesome how, even with the slow development, it manages to innovate in terms of atmosphere and in using that atmosphere, sound and sight, to shape gameplay.

I can scarcely imagine just how terryfing the landsharks will be if PLAYERS scare the hell out of me in the dark.

Yes. Small team still haven't given up their dream and I wouldn't include it here if I didn't think it had a lot of potential, even "old" as it is.
