You're at an interview, it could be for a job, or for a place in a college/university. You've just met your interviewer, he/she has taken you to the interview room, you both sit down, and the first question they ask is the question you've been dreading. What is that question and how will you respond?

My worst question: "What are your most recent achievements?"

*Tries very very hard to forget xbox achievements as I don't have any real life achievements*

My response: "Uh... the daredevil achievement? Where I killed an enemy while blinded by a flashbang in CoD. That counts right?"

This is a somewhat pointless thread as we can all sit here and think about what we would say, when actually it would be on the spot. Still not a bad idea though.

Question: "Do you think I'm sexy?"

Answer: "err... I didn't think it was like that.... Is it like that?"

"So I see that you are an average student with very high test scores. . . why is that?"

Gah! I am not necessarily the epitome of academic acheivement but I have decent grades. The problem is that all of my test scores put me into a much higher category. The causation: I am pretty goddamned lazy and I procrastinate. Answering that question without mentioning my lack of work ethic would be pulling teeth. *Shudder* I don't even know how I would try.

"Why do you think you are best for this position?"

In job interviews obviously. I hate this question because I feel it's pointless. I mean they're basically asking if you know you'll be, not good but best in a job at a place that you, (in most cases,) won't know about. Not only that but why you believe you're better than their other candidates - who you know nothing about. The only thing I can think of to answer this one truthfully is, "I can adapt to anything that's thrown at me."

Another job interview one:

"What made you want to apply for this position?"

Um, the ned to earn money? I needed a job and this is the one that was going? None of these answers are going to score any points so I made up a line about how "the description of the job instantly appealed to me because I feel I could excell in it." They love that answer. Doesn't make me hate the question any less though.
