introduce me to games!!!

a comment on another thread of mine has inspired this.bin gaming for 25yrs had most consoles but im up to date on all new titles so heres the deal.

i have a pc that will pretty much run anything, a 360 a ps3 a wii a ds and a psp. im into all types of games and love games that try to be different so if you think you may have played something great that i mite have missed then shout out bro. if i aint played it ill give it a go. pretty sure my ps3 is backwards compatable so ps1/2 games as well.

Well, most of my favourite games are the rpgs of yesteryear. However, Neverwinter Nights 2 is a fantastic game as well as the prequel Neverwinter Nights. I'd give them a try. As far as old rpgs go, Dragon Quest Four is one of my personal favourites, they event redid it on the DS.

i actually have nwn2 sat on my self...never got round to playing it so i guess theres a pretty gud start. as for this remake you speak of.......i believe i shal have to google this.

Something different? Play Dreamfall. A very story-heavy game, and that's a good thing, because the story kicks arse. Also, all of the Monkey Island games.

And if you haven't played Civ IV, do so.

Psychonauts tries to be different. Also, play Beyond Good and Evil, or forever remain emotionally dead.

And I hope you've already played Deus Ex.

And the first Longest Journey game.

Mabinogi is a good MMORPG. I'm on server Alexina, great community.

Oblivion is good game, but I've heard Morrowwind is better.

Civilization is always good.

Gothic 2 - i like it and i love the story and the cheesy (cheesy good) dialogue.

Beyond Good and Evil and Okami are two must-haves. Amazing games that were almost completely overlooked.

Also, Final Fantasy VII has been released on the PSN. If you haven't played it, do so immediately: it's arguably the most amazing fantasy story ever told.

Well, no. It was made in 2003. It has a lot player friendly game play, it's third person and you actually gain XP for killing stuff, not skills for weapons. It's worth checking out.

Gothic 3 is the same thing as second game and it continues the story. Third one is worth renting while the second is worth buying.
Vampire: The Masquerade ? Bloodlines; good game about vampires. Not like twilight pussy vampires, but vampires that live amongst humans and have a whole culture, traditions and rules. Good story and average gameplay. Check it out on Youtube or something.

Well Bioshock (I'm predictable) and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 are my reccomendations. As for older games Glover (You'll never play another game like it) and Okami.
