I decided that the Escapist needed an introduction thread, so people get to know you better. Just write a few things about yourself.

I'm Alex, a 15 year old Ukrainian kid residing in Colorado. I enjoy playing guitar, listening to metal, soccer, knowing internet memes, and yelling at small children.
and, on my free time, I'm a viking pirate ninja.

Terribly sorry, as I'm bored and just felt like nitpicking.

Anyways, I'm Christian. Panama City, Florida is the dungeon in which i reside, and I am actually fourteen, even though my birthday on this account states otherwise.

I enjoy playing guitar as well. I also enjoy reading (Currently I'm reading Catch-22...excellent book as of yet. Very funny); and to me, music is the greatest thing in the world. Tool and Radiohead are personal favorites.

My name's Fox, 31. Going through college (with the "this time I mean it for real" determination that only comes with age and the experience of getting assfucked by the real world), trying to prove that you can in fact teach old dogs new tricks. With any luck, by my 40th birthday I'll be able to call myself "certified public accountant" after getting a BS in accounting and doing the professional work/grad school required. Thankfully accountants are paid very well, so even with the late start I'll still have a chance to retire wealthy.

Gaming-wise, I'm into nonviolent single player. Patrician, Port Royale, Tropico, The Sims. Some of you would think "you're not a real gamer", to which I say "I'm old enough to be your father, so pipe down, kid. Also I get laid more than you do, so n'yeah." Main exception to the "nonviolent" part: Grand Theft Auto. Those games are just exceptionally well done.

I'm a conservative economically and socially. My religion's polytheism---don't say "pagan" because I'm not a medieval Norse peasant nor am I a fluff bunny teenaged Wiccan girl who got her religion from Disney films. I'm a guy who started as an atheist but came to realize that there are gods and they are watching. I won't preach further unless asked.

I live in Reno, a city that is better in Fallout 2 than it is in real life. After college I'm moving away as fast as I can, and if I get my way it'll be to my childhood hometown of Boston. If my wife gets her way (which is likely), we'll move to Seattle. Main reasons we haven't moved yet are A) state resident rates for education are cheaper and B) her job is supporting my poor ass through college.
