No. This doesn't seem intended to replace the Switch. The New Coke was.

I thought the whole New Coke thing was just a marketing ploy - New Coke is terrible, bring back Coke Classic at a higher price. So the Switch Jr is never intended to work, only make the switch look better by comparisons.

They still took the old coke briefly out of the market. And New Coke being a marketing ploy? Nah. Too much credit for something that is transparently stupidity over malice.
