Inuyasha: The Final Act

i have recently found out that the original cast and crew are making an anime adaptation of the final part of the manga. though i still haven't watched all the current episodes yet (subbed, of course) i'm already looking forward to finding out how it all ends. a friend reads the manga and, apparently, the ending is really good.

does anyone else here watch it, what do you think?

Well, it'll provide closure at least. The end of the anime felt like a gigantic slap in the face to me - after years of watching it I expected an actual ending, you know? u.u
Hopefully I can bring myself to watch it - I grew out of Inuyasha years ago.

about 170-ish episodes were made but they didn't go to the end of the manga, they stopped early, but are now doing the rest

Well, all good things must come to an end, so if someone actually goes through the effort to watch the whole series, I'd give them some authority to judge on whether it is a good thing or not.
