No, this ain't about The Prodigy with their song, it's about rodent control.
Cockroaches, rats, mice, ticks, termites, gnats, spiders... how do you deal with them?

Spiders are fine for me, they keep the fly-population low. Rats and mice are only a problem for me if they are not caged. As for other rodents and insects in the house... The title says it all.

Well, insects in general bothers me.
More precisely, any living being that gets inside my house without my permission.

I will go with that then:
Any living being that enters my house without my permission should die.

Oh yes! And pidgeons too. I hate them. <.<

Mice, rats, we have a cat, next door has a cat and a ferret, they don't last long round here.
Spiders, in a jar, out the window, they aren't a pest. Although hamsters love to hunt spiders (no really).
Cockroaches, don't leave food out.
The others, GAS THEM ALL TO HELL!!! Erm... what I meant to say was use the appropriatte pesticide on them.

I take a live and let live attitude to most pests and critters, other than rats and mice, which we poison, and flies, which I swat with the nearest available object. Although when I get my gun I think dad may ask me to do something about the pigeons eating our garden...

I usually let most insects go as long as they aren't bees. As for rodents if I see and I'll usually set out traps for them, or let my cat get them.

I'll release any insects if they annoy me. I wont kill them, and if they don't annoy me I just let them be.

Rodents aren't much of a problem. The cat gets most of them before they get into the house, and aside from a few mice i the attic, I don't think we have any.

Although about two months ago, we started to notice a family of rats living under the shed. My father took his air rifle and spent about a week sniping them from the doorway and upstairs windows. I don't know how many of them he managed to get, and I don't think he does either. I'm kind of hoping that most of them just caught on and left.

Well, spiders get evicted sometimes. And only in summer. Insects that fly in fly back out in a few minutes. Cockroaches are nowhere to be found (yay for sanitation!). As for mice... well, i live on a third floor. We have two cats. Figure it out.

I try my best not to kill anything, but I could see where culling the population of rodents might be prudent since they spread diseases.

I'm ok with small bugs, but spiders any bigger than I-----This-----I have to die. And wasps. They get the baseball bat.

Now I don't get rats, but mice! If the poison doesn't get them then random crushy objects do!

No. I don't think he's ever been to South America.

And I'm pretty sure he didn't want to hit them. He just wanted to drive them away.

When I lived with my Mum, an innocent field mouse set up house in my room. It stayed there for a few weeks. Until my friend came round for my birthday and brought a load of sweets etc. So we could game through the day.
A single malteaser escaped my mouth and ended up on the floor. The very next morning I found my friendly bedroom mouse dead, next to a half eaten malteaser. I like to believe that it choked on the malteaser, not being aware of it's dangerous middle.
