I would like an app for iPhone that lets you write a document on you iPhone and then transfer it to ur pr. Does such a thing exist?
I have an iPhone and i'm perfectly happy with it, I have it because I needed a phone, and as a phone its very good.RAKtheUndead said:Oh dear. You appear to have chosen the wrong phone for that sort of application. You see, the iPhone OS is only ostensibly marketed towards business applications. If you were interested in buying a phone with a computer-compatible word processor, you should have gone for something running Symbian OS or Windows Mobile, the OS choices of real business phones. Indeed, even Palm OS would have suited you better.
I don't think IndieRocker's intention was to get a phone with word processing THEN choose the iPhone. Having one as well, I can say that the previously mentioned cut-and-paste lack makes things difficult, but typing can be almost as rapid as a keyboard with enough practice. All in all, if you want to write something but all you have is your iPhone, take my ghetto route advice and just put it in an email draft. I know it's not the most grand choice but it works and it's competent. Also, you can email notes as well, if you prefer the yellow paper look instead of the unfeeling field of white.RAKtheUndead said:Oh dear. I must be the lucky one that has one that works really well, for example, after 20 minutes of use, it doesn't burn my ear's off like a Nokia does.RAKtheUndead said:According to my research, it isn't supposed to be that good at telephony, really.ColdStorage said:I have an iPhone and i'm perfectly happy with it, I have it because I needed a phone, and as a phone its very good.

Advertising over functionality. If you needed a phone for phone stuff, there would have been plenty of better options, even at the very low end.
