i'm willing to admit that macs would be easy to use if you know absolutley nothing about computers but being a fairly compouter savy person the first time i tried to use a mac i was shocked by the lack of functionality, i think macs are great for "hands off" computer needs, if you don't want to screw around with your computer and use it occationally a mac may be good for you, but if you want the computer you use to be unique and be able to fiddle with it yourself you need a pc, overall my experience with mac has been poor, and the features i've seen of the few times i used it actually stopped me in my tracks with how unfriendly it is to ME, but i've been using a pc since i was 13 or 14, 7 years of use can develop a few habits.

i myself have vista on a laptop and while i find some of the features redundand and time consuming i also understand why they are that way, it's a balanceing act between accessability and tamper-proof.
