At Last! PS3 and Wii users have enjoyed the BBC iPlayer for years, but at long last us Xbox users have got the service too. I didn't even realise we were getting it until I booted up the 360 today.
I am glad the BBC stuck to its guns to make sure it was available to all and not just those with gold memberships, but why did it take so long for Microsoft to compromise? The iPlayer is by far the most popular TV catchup service in the UK, why did Microsoft allow Sony and Nintendo to have this advantage for so long?
