Ipod touch app help

Okay, I synced my Ipod touch to my friend's itunes account and grabbed his apps, and yet, when I try to transfer these apps to my Itunes account, it refuses to work. Does anyone have a way that I can make a backup of the apps on my Itouch that I can put into Itunes? (Or any other solutions)

Are they tied to his account? Cause if so then you probably can't use them. I haven't ever used iTunes, so I'm just guessing here.

EDIT: Well, to stay on topic, the posts above are probably correct. If the apps are tied to his account, then you probably can't use them since they aren't yours.

Well, to elaborate, I have the apps running perfectly on my Ipod, its just that now I can't sync my Ipod without losing them.
