as most ppl have said here there are a lot of different aspects to intelligence. there is a memorization aspect, a way to apply said knowledge, a way to adapt the knowledge (this is something most ppl lack), a creative aspect, a spacial aspect (another thing ppl lack) and also the ability to learn (different from memorization)

a nice question i always ask when someone says "oh i have a high iq and i'm smarter than you" is i simply ask them to describe a cup sitting on a table to me or navigate themselves around a city when they've messed up the directions and need to get back on course but can't turn around. most ppl can answer a logic problem however those last two problems have them stumped and they will even go as far to say "no that's not intelligence" but really it is, it's just not as simple as a math problem

Well, just to see how I would do, I just took an online IQ test.
I got 130.
From seeing this I can safely say that IQ tests have absolutely no reflection on intelligence.
Or possibly that online IQ tests are terribly inaccurate.

As for the nature of intelligence.
I got nuthin'
Intelligence is a pretty broad term, it encompasses a lot of different circumstances, In their own way, all the listed examples in the OP are equally intelligent.
If there was someone who could do all of the examples, then that person would be the most intelligent.

I took an IQ test before (not an online one). They made me count cubes all damn day. They also asked me to define words. The test takes so long. But yeah, IQ score becomes inaccurate as you grow older since you begin to focus in developing specific types of intelligence that cannot be measured with a test or expressed in a number. Go figure.

Smarts is what you do with it. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. All the rocket science in the world isn't going to save you from starvation on a dessert island, being knowledgeable with coconuts however will certainly help. In my opinion it comes down to usefulness, first and foremost survival, so guys like survivor man, or that other guy who does pretty much the exact same thing, they rank very high in my book, being able to deal with a TON of situations. After that it comes down to how much the "knowledge" is able to be used. Which in most signalized society is a show of success, being really good at something then making good use of it. You could be able to score better than everyone on a test. I'd still score someone who doesn't live in there parents basement saying to themselves that everyone else is stupid and inferior, much lower than the mentaly handicapped person who happens to be extremely good at doing the same factory work over and over without mistake, and has a wife and kid.

I don't like mentioning or using IQ, since I don't think that intelligence can be measured quantitatively. I was not aware that all IQ basically tells you is retarded/not retarded, though. There are all kinds of intelligence. I'm not particularly good at maths, but I consider myself really smart concerning philosophy, politics, cultures, and other non-numerical stuff. Also, I fucking memorized the entire globe without ever trying and suddenly realized one day that I can find just about any country or city in the world. It was odd finding that out 'cause I was just naturally good at that and assumed everyone else found it that easy, so I was bewildered when I first heard that some people couldn't find Iraq or the state they live in on a map.
