What really epic stories does America have? Which one would we use?
Federalist Papers: the MMO, reproducing the exchange of ideas between Federalist and Anti-Federalist factions of the Constitutional Convention.

And you thought flamewars were a modern invention... they just took longer and were a bit flowerier back then.

You know, why can't Americans have something like this?
We do.

It's called 'The Sims'...you can play as yourself as you meaninglessly try to acquire more personal wealth and social status, only to use those perks and skills to purchase more materialistic items for your over inflated and gaudy house, and have adulterous relationships with neighbors and neglect your simulated offspring.

I wonder when we will do our own national epic game. Cant wait to smack wooden boards across the faces of devils iron minions, in the middle of the lake, while being tutored by a hedgehog... Im not making this up.

That would be SO awesome!

I always wanted to hunt for whales but couldn't due to stuff.

A whaling game would be awesome!

Well, doesn't look bad. When I clicked on the thread here, I was bracing myself something more along the lines of anti-Semitic propaganda...

But Iranian mythology, sure. That's cool.

Sweet.
Now all we need is to use high-tech translating devices and cleverly devised localized skins. Then make ignorant people play this game and make friends with people from all over the world, and only then reveal that they've been playing with the "American devils" or "evil turban people."

Games for world peace, whoo!
