My friend summed that whole scene up as "A bunch of Americans who thought that because they're not Italian they must be Irish"Cpt_Oblivious said:I think Irish rock can't get any better than the Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly.

That they are. Actual Irish people don't play 'Irish' rock. We play pretty much the same rock as other people. The only people who actually play 'Irish Rock' are Americans, same way the only people who actually say "top of the morning" are Americans.Dr.Poisonfreak said:aren't dropkick murphy's american ?
Makes you feel kinda bad that American Irish bands are more Irish then real Irish bands, dunnit?Zamn said:That they are. Actual Irish people don't play 'Irish' rock.
