im like most of you guys out there, the guy playing COD or halo and having an occasional a ngry outburst when you've been fragged for the UMPTEENTHOUSANDTH time, we all do it. have a swear or a little rant. this is neither surprising nor overly annoying. what IS annoying though is the [insert appropriate noun heere] who carry on all game with it. all they do is swear, insult or carry on like the [noun here] we all hate them as. i just gotta ask yas. what causes them to act like this, and why do they play games that only end up frustrateing them?

i might be alone in this thinking but i just cant understand it. anyone else encountered this kind of behaviour feel free to add.

ps, feel free to include any stories or rants you feel like shareing ^_^

I used to get really wound up by these types when I was about 15 playing counterstrike. However, now (at 22) I just laugh to myself at how absurd they all sound. Most sound no more than 19 years old and it's all just misdirected machoness completely lost on the interweb. Doesn't wind me up in the slightest these days.

Don't really care. I think about how much more I'm enjoying the game than they are.

Then I get them as annoyed as possible for shits and giggles.

That's just sad. Those people HAVE NO life and internet is the only place where they can stand up and say what they want... but they don't have anything to say. They just push all their anger on people who can't ruin their faces for screaming. If i met them i would hit them so hard they would never play video games again.

Let me tell you this gamers are people and people will be, competive and angry, when it comes to games, any game for that matter. It's human nature.
Every human wants to win, some just take it more seriously than others.

So with that use the mute feature to ignore the bastards and get on with the game.

All hail the "mute player" button; praised be the names of the programmers who brought unto us this Holy Blessing... and blessed are those who spread word of its fame.

Amen.

I have never ever had this problem. I do understand the mute function and how to use it though. I wonder if the two are related? Nah I must be lucky.

I love it when people completely rage out on the Internet. I like to savour their tears, taste them like a fine wine.

The whole point of voice chat in FPS is to trash talk. It's all I do on TF2. That, and team coordination, but alltalk is usually on, so you cant do anything but trash talk and yell at one another.
Actually it's just for team coordination most of the time. A lot of games don't let you talk to the enemy team.
