Is ActionScript 2 still worth learning?

Forever ago I bought a book on ActionScript 2.0 and never really learned it due to..well, I was younger and less patient.
But now ActionScript 3 is out, and I can't go out and buy another book due to the fact that money is really tight. I know there are places online I can learn it, but I like the structure a book has with teaching.
Is ActionScript 2 so outdated that learning it now would be pointless? I figure it'd make it easier to learn 3.0 but if not, then what's the best place online for me to learn 3.0?

Specifically, I can't say. However, I'd say the worst thing that you might come across is that some stuff in 2.0 has been deprecated in 3.0. But that really only means that there are better practices and not that the old way won't work and you'll just have to learn the new way when you get to it. Even if there was some huge differences between 2 and 3, it'd be better to learn something than nothing.
