My buddy is playing as a Khajiit thief/rogue/assassin badass thing, and has rolled him to be lethal if unseen but a little squishy in a direct fight to force him to play tactically.
Looks pretty awesome. Loot a vic's pockets for all his good stuff, then x30 sneak backstab with his Elven Dagger while his friends wander around going "hey, what happened to Bob.... *gurgling death noise as throat is slit*"
The best story moment I've seen so far (covering with spoilers)
My other housemate is playing totally differently - pretty much the bull in a china shop approach with lightning and fire and just wading right in, he;s not a Khajiit though.

The Lights Out quest line, where a fellow criminal teams up with you and asks you to knock out the lighthouse so that an incoming ship will run aground and you can split the loot between him, his sister and you. You do this, and he thanks you for it and sends you off down to the boat to meet up with his partner in crime.
This is where it gets cool, since the mobs don't aggro on you, but playing as a thief/merc makes you wary, so (after pickpocketing all of the henchmen on the way in), he pickpoketed a note on the sister's body revealing that the plan was to double cross you all along, so he just kills her before she even sees him, then sneaks out. The beauty being that the game accounts for you doing this, instead of breaking the quest. It was beautiful. Then you can head off and take your revenge on the original guy, now in his hideout with all the loot. This hideout also showcased the much improved archery (compared to oblivion), with some sweet long range stealth kills of several henchmen to thin out the ranks.
I bet the quest can go multiple ways, if you can convince the sister to work with you etc, or pay her off or something, I have no idea. I just like the way you seem to be able to do things your way.
