Is black ops for PC stable now?

I've heard the horror stories about the performance issues with machines that exceed the recommended requirements in the past, but I want to get it in order to get my multiplayer fix. I don't feel like torrenting an 11 gb "demo",(seriously, release a fucking demo) so I turn to you guys to see if the game runs as smoothly as it should. I want to buy the game tonight, is it worth it?

Performance wise it's better but there is so many glitches otherwise I really wouldn't recommend it.

Currently, I can't even change my classes, killstreaks, or playercard so yeah.

I could run it on max everything only without AA 40-60fps, but it was only the single player and didn't check the multiplayer. And my machine is real crap.

well your classes are yyour setup, IE what persk weapons you have
killstreaks is the ingame reward (like a helicopter or whatever) for getting x number of kills, he is refering to not being able to set this.

As for the playercard i honestly don't remember.

But the last time i played i kept getting random disconnects on a perfectly stable web connection. So watch out.

So are these issues that will be fixed in the future? Or is that just how the game is? There is NO way to change this by creating a new profile or something?

I can play it more or less, but on medium, and my PC is more than capable of running it, it still glitchy as hell, not worth it. I for one won't be getting any more CoD games, i'll await Battlefield 3 for my epic multiplayer

Its still a mess. I get random lagspikes amd a friend of me had his profiles (aka lvls and everything) reseted and he cant lvl up anymore and support pretty much told him there is nothing they can do.

I've tried every single fix possible for this, and nothing works. It's a good game, but this makes it unplayable for me. I contacted support and a summary of what they said is that there's nothing they could do about it. =\
