Is crysis underated?

great game, shame you needed a supercomputer from the future to get everything out of it.

In the end, it seems the superlative graphics ended up overshadowing the gameplay elements. Also, it received an unfair reputation for only being playable on supercomputers which may have prevented some sales. It sold 1.5 million and was mostly well recieved by critics, so its marginally underrated by the public if anything.

I haven't played the game, but the sales (which will rise further with the release of the Maximum Edition) and review scores point towards it being much better recieved commercially than the typical examples of Psychonauts and BGAE.
