After seeing the awesome trailer, i was a little hesitant due to the possibility it could just be awesome cinematics, but gameplay might be lacking?
what does everyone think?

cheers

The graphics are definitely a bit worse on the 360. The combat controls are apparently more awkward, too. You have to dial through targets with the 4-way pad rather than just clicking on them, and the camera controls are less versatile.

But if you can only get it for 360 and you want to buy it for the story, I doubt any of this will keep you from enjoying it.

It's better on the PC, but unless you have a PC version to compare it to I can't say you'll be disappointed. The game is still a blast and plays fantastically, it's just harder to be a mage and approach combat strategically. The game also looks like it came out 2 or 3 years ago.

It's fine. The PC version IS better. But the 360 version functions just fine. It's not broken.

If the darn system specs for games weren't so high these days, I would've got it for the PC.
Can't even run Orange Box, (particularily TF2) on my laptop, (well it would look utter tripe on it, and I'd have to hack it to get it to run, STUPID ONBOARD GRAPHICS!! (should be banned from all laptops! >:/ ))

But at least I know its not horrible. Heck, I was playing Sonic Heroes last night, and that game's controls are so dodgy, it wants to make you cry!

The game is great. I love it on my 360.
The PC version is better, but by no means is the 360 version 'bad'.
I love it.

It's fine, i still have fun and can still be tactical with situations. Obviously not as much as PC and ofcourse the PC version is better on every level but the Console versions aren't complete rubbish, they're pretty good.

My older brother had the console version (failed to ask him if it was PS3 or 360) and he hated it.

I have it on the PC and I love it. We haven't yet been in a position to trade games and thus experience what the other had.

Can't complain with my experience and except for a few restricting factors on the 360 (no top-down view for instance), it's probably still a decent title.

ITs fine. If your buying it for the story, you will not be dissapointed.

Its as others said, the console versions just have worse graphics and maybe the controls will be odd.

The PC version is a fresh brownie covered with chocolate fudge, the console version is just the fresh brownie.

Either way, its a damn good brownie.

Good to know, I'm hopefully getting it for Christmas.

I got it on the 360 and loved the game. My only regret is the lack of the Toolkit on the consoles, but as a game it was great.

It is REALLY awesome.

There is only one thing, beware of the DLC, they add like 30 minutes of play (MAYBE) each, and are way overpriced

But as far as the game, yeah, it is amazing.

the PC version allows you to select spells and stuff easier rather than the radial menues on the console versions and the PC version can go into a top down view allowing oyu to take your bearings and size up the enemies. other than that i think they're pretty much the same.

what DLC is there for it?
Stone Prisoner (DLC party member) which comes free with the PC purchase (dunno about console).
Blood Dragon Armor (Some armor, code also works for Mass Effect 2, see above for availability)
Warden's Keep ($7, questline, some armour, two unique abilities depending on your class and a storage chest).
The Edge (Just a random dagger, I got it free. It just downloaded one day. I 'unno).

Think that's it so far, they've announced Return to Ostagar but that's not out yet.
