Try the demo out.

I did and I hated it, didn't seem like an Obsidian game, seemed generic, controls were awful, camera angles were even worse.

It's not a bad game, but liking previous Obsidian games bears no meaning here. The game is a pretty straightforward hack'n'slash action RPG. It's not particularly great, deep or long, but it's not terrible. However, there's a distinct lack of usual Obsidian features like a good plot, cool mechanics and such. In the game's defense, it is quite bug-free, which is a major accomplishment for Obsidian.

All in all, if you can get it for cheap and you feel like playing something vaguely Diablo-like, go for it. But don't expect much.

WOAH WOAH WOAH. Let me get this straight...an Obsidian game...without gameplay crippling bugs? I might have to buy this just to see this truly rare spectacle...

Yeah, no game crippling bugs. Heck, I encountered no bugs at all. But it's also a game without any decent plot (there's one and it's bad), memorable characters, depth or any of the other things Obsidian is also known for. It's not an Obsidian game at all. Imagine if Bethesda released a 3-hour long rail shooter. Sure, it would have "Bethesda" on the box, but it would in no way, shape or form feel like a Bethesda game...
