Well, I subscribe to Gameinformer, and I usually like it as a useful source of upcoming games and previews, but the reviews seem to be very elitist. Basically, it sums down to anything over an 9 by their standards being a must play game that is to be fawned over like a deity, 8 being a mediocre game, and anything below an 8 is complete and utter garbage and not worth your time and trouble. For example, Dante's Inferno,despite being a fun game, but not necessarily being the best is said to be very boring and repitive and not worth your time. While on the other hand, Bad Company 2 apparently seems to be the equal to Modern Warfare 2 and that it's the next innovation to the shooter franchise. I don't know, but it seems quite elitist to me. What do you think?
