The large multinational fast food companies feed people extremely unhealthy food.

The people get fat and unhealthy and then develop deadly diseases.

The energy industry burns fossil fuels and poisons the air.

Cars burn fossil fuels and poison the air.

The media constantly plagues peoples minds with sexual imagery.

People are led to believe that uncontrolled copious amounts of Sex are good for them.

People don't use protection whilst having sex and transfer diseases to other people.

So now we have disgusting air, disgusting food and STDs.

People develop diseases such as heart disease (bought on by the disgusting food), Cancer (bought on by polluted air and disgusting food) and many STDs (bought on by unprotected sex)

Now the big Pharmaceuticals come into play.

They offer "Treatment" but not a cure. Why not a cure? The answer is obvious. A cure would be a one off fee. Treatment on the other hand is a constant stream of income.

As technology advances, scientist develop cures for these diseases. Their research is bough by the pharmaceutical companies and destroyed never to be heard of again.

-We have saved multiple species from extinction. Pandas would have been long gone if it weren't for us you know.

-We help the ecosystem by replenishing what we have taken constantly. Other animals just move to somewhere else is resources get low. We humans on the other hand rebuild it.

-We create a world of beauty not even nature can replicate. Cities full of lights that light up the night sky, massive super structures that are thousands of feet high, the observatories on the mountains to observe the stars and space in ways no other creature has. How can you loathe humanity for such things? We made earth look even better than it already does, and that is saying a lot.

-We document things that normally would have been eaten away by the teeth of time, we keep a track record of the things that happen in this small green world of ours. No humans means no books, no windows to the imagination. Our pursuit of knowledge has driven us far, and misanthropes just want to give up.

-Monkeys, our distant cousins would never have learned sign language and dogs would have stayed as pack hunters and nothing more. We by far have the most symbiotic relationships of any animal on this planet.

And this is only a small fraction on humanities' resume of greatness it has done to this world. I could be here all day.

Why can't misanthropes just pull their head out of their ass and admit that humans are one of the best things to happen to this planet? They rather ***** about how horrid humans are and it is completely atrocious.

I know for a fact that they buy up and bury potential cures because it doesn't benefit them to cure people of their most profitable diseases. The only way cures for things like Cancer etc will ever be made is by private funding. Once it's a recognised treatment and available multinationally, there's not much they can do.

No amount of money can suppress that. I'm assuming you're either a troll, or a 14 year old girl. In either case, I would advise you educate yourself a little about the topic you're trying to talk about. The internet has plenty of good resources on ocean acidification, genetic diversity, evolutionary anthropology, etc. All these fields relate very well to the topic you're trying to talk about and you could really learn a lot by just googling some of those terms and browsing a bit.

I'm assuming you're either a troll, or a 14 year old girl. In either case, I would advise you educate yourself a little about the topic you're trying to talk about. The internet has plenty of good resources on ocean acidification, genetic diversity, evolutionary anthropology, etc. All these fields relate very well to the topic you're trying to talk about and you could really learn a lot by just googling some of those terms and browsing a bit.

When Einstein discovered the power of the atom, nobody asked him if we could use the power as an energy resource. The asked him to make a bomb. Hundreds of thousands of people died abruptly. Babies, little boys, little girls, men, women and seniors all died because a few men perverted the findings of a genius.

Well yeah, he discovered the finding in the middle of world war 2 when things like the nazis were threatening to exterminate all of non-aryan humanity for not having blue eyes and being blond. Also they did also use the discovery for energy, ever heard of nuclear power plants by any chance?

That's not my point. The Nuclear bomb was developed to escalate the war with Japan. Nuclear weapons were not used against the Nazis. The Nazis would have lost anyway. The US was far more technologically advanced. My point is that people still make nukes. Nobody has learned a lesson from the atrocities committed half a century ago. I know for a fact that they buy up and bury potential cures because it doesn't benefit them to cure people of their most profitable diseases. The only way cures for things like Cancer etc will ever be made is by private funding. Once it's a recognised treatment and available multinationally, there's not much they can do.

Correct, especially with the ever so powerful internet tool that can virally spread pretty much anything.

No amount of money can suppress that. It has been used on mostly useless things like internet memes over jokes and all, but it should seriously be used more for things like spreading that a independent company found a cure for cancer like how independent games become extremely popular and even compete with games made by corporations sometimes? It is fully possible especially in the digital age.

I don't hate myself and nor do I hate humans. I also wouldn't want anyone to feel bad. But this is the reality. People are suffering for the amusement of a few individuals. If this is how it will continue, the world in 2020 will be similar to how it is now with the only difference being that there are more people suffering from disease.

As for the whole "destroying the Earth" thing. That is because of modern Capitalism. Sustainability is bad for business. I'll put it this way: 100 years ago Tesla knew how to give everyone in the world free energy wirelessly. If JP Morgan continued the to fund this project he would have been run out of business. Early models of the car were designed to be run on electricity. That is bad for the oil business. Scientists are now being bought in order to tell the public whatever the hell the buyer wants them to say.
